The city is known best for the bitter taste in the air, the gorgeous skyline, the star sports teams (except the Pirates), and fries on sandwiches. It has great history in technology and industry. Some of the greatest advances in medicine, transportation, and energy have been made here.
With great growth, with change, and with development, there are always people left behind. People die, burn out, or just give in to the tides of economy and culture. There’s jealousy and misery behind every other closed door, and that’s why we’re here. No city becomes well-known without a few bodies stashed under the mattress.
When you walk through the streets and suburbs, and you taste that bitter salt of pollution or smell that sulfuric, nostril-burning air – just keep in mind that not everything is what it seems, and there might really be a monster hiding under your bed, or maybe, right next to you, behind the dead eyes of someone you once loved.
